Cho and Jacobs call them affine CD-categories, where “CD” stands for “Copy/Discard”, describing the interpretation of the structure morphisms (2.1). Due to the central role that these categories seem to play in probability and statistics, we introduce a catchier term which hints at the idea that the morphisms in the categories under consideration behave like Markov kernels
長とジェイコブスは、それらの圏をアフィンCD圏と呼んでいる。ここで、“CD”は“Copy/Discard”を表し、圏が持つ構造射（2.1参照）の解釈に由来する。この種の圏は、確率・統計で中心的な役割を果たすのだから、よりキャッチーな用語である「マルコフ圏」を導入したい。この言葉は、その種の圏の射がマルコフ核のように振る舞うこと示唆する。
まったくそのとおりで、「アフィンCD圏」はネーミングがダメだと思う。マルコフ圏のほうがいい。
